http://www.autopia.org/forum/hot-tub/115785-call-out-forum-member-not-question.htmlSome guy in Canada has been basically spamming detailing forums on car sites with threads that say "Ask a professional detailer" and subtly spams his service.
A Lamborghini owner sends out an e-mail to Todd of Bella Machina (high end detailer in Florida) and before he responds, another detailer hits the guy up (in what turned out to be a mass PM to everyone on that Lambo board) and the owner of the Lambo thinks he is dealing with Todd. The other guy. Holden made no effort to make the customer aware of who he was actually dealing with. Long story short, he burned the trim on the Lambo, some of the edges and a few other problems. Charged the guy $4000 for the work, $1000 for travel (Canada to Florida) and $330 hotel expenses. Didn't even give the guy a receipt because apparently it isn't legal for him to even be working in America.
He posts a thread on autopia bragging about the Lambo detail:

Here is the Lambo thread where he gets outed...

I will answer this question for Holden since it looks like he disappeared from this thread, similar to how he has disappeared from any of my communication.
He is not legal to work in the states. How do I know this? Because he worked on my car and when I asked for a receipt, he balked. 2 weeks ago he sent my an email confirming he would not be giving me a receipt because the IRS may not look on his work in the US kindly. I then asked him why he would contact me in the first place if he wasn't legal to work here and he never replied.
The worst part is that he damaged some window trim on my car after doing work that I was not completely satisfied with. I have sent him the bill and he has not replied since. I could go on and on...Getting owned on a lot of forums...
