Could it be possible to divide IP45 into two groups one group with say with the divider being power to weight ratio having 4wd turbocharged vehicles like evolutions and vehicles with similar power to weight ratios in one group and cars such as a 2wd n/a vehicle like a corolla in the other bracket and similar vehicles in the other, and stagger the 2 groups?

No sir because that would put more presssure on on ip45 than it already has so just come wid yu sreetaz and suit and helmet and do your thing you might just be surpried how many people win by  default

But then again I wasn't really talking about IP45.

Its the truth... i dont feel no way boss. Some of then spin off course, engine trouble, including other things and never finish for true.

I run dover on borrowed or rented cars with just about 1 day or less worth of orientation. Why? Because that when i get off the plane lol! My first IP45 event came after starting the car for the first time less than one hour before departing for dover after missing qualifying becuase the car was till in a box and needed to be worked on.

The point is that you dont need a street monster to be in IP45 just go and have fun.

Okay, here is the update.

The dream scenario was that TA1 could be shipped directly from Guyana to Florida, from there it would be transported to Chicago, where it would be worked on before coming to Jamaica.

Unfortunately, that was not doable. I don't know the reasons why, but it had to come back to Jamaica. So, it was packed up and shipped here... and arrived last week. We've only just gotten TA1 back...

The option of shipping it to Chicago from here has been looked at, but it is very expensive and that is money that would better be spent on the car itself. We have a long list of "things to do" and are currently hashing out the priorities and schedule. Some AMS personnel are part of the equation, to work here in Jamaica.

To directly answer the questions asked:

1. No, but it is still planned.
2. No, not yet, but that too is planned.
3. On the "things to buy" list.
4. Depends on the "issues" you refer to. Suspension work, which involves both chassis and actual components, is constant.

I must say , on my way to kingston today ,, i notice the Dover notice  board in st, ann,  looking great  , with the colors more  brighter  it  catches one eyes,,,    as long as JRDC keeps it  like that , it will help to get the word out,,

Correct Toda. The money that could be spent on shipping the car can be better spent on airfare etc for personnel from AMS to come to Jamaica for a while to work on TA1.

Don't worry, a location with the necessary facilities has already been secured.
